About Ms. Stern

My name is Mrs. Stern.  This is my 29^th year of teaching at Highwood Hills Elementary School.  I enjoy hiking with friends, walking my dogs, Ginger, Jack, and Ruby, and spending time with my family.  I have taught Pre-K – 5^th grade.  I am currently the WINN teacher, which means I teach literacy to small groups.  I work with Kindergarten – 3^rd grade students who need extra support in reading.  Each group meets for about 20 minutes a day.  I look forward to helping all students reach their potential in reading!
