Highwood Hills SPED teacher presents in Atlanta

This opportunity highlights the power of partnerships that support innovation, leadership, and student success. As part of the Curriculum Committee for Designing Residency Coursework and School-Based Learning (OJL), Salma gained valuable experience in leadership, collaboration, and purposeful planning while completing her directorship course. This work deepened her understanding of how strong curriculum design supports teacher growth and student achievement. The experience also inspired her to continue mentoring future teacher candidates by helping build their confidence, skills, and success in the classroom.
