Highwood Hills Recognized by College of Education, Business and Allied Health

Highwood Hills was recognized by the College of Education, Business and Allied Health for their outstanding collaboration with the University of Wisconsin-River Falls for always opening their doors to Pre-Service teachers and expanding their horizons!

Dr. Hiawatha Smith, Professor and coordinator of the Teacher Education Program, in his speech at the award ceremony praised SPPS and Highwood Hills teachers for opening their doors and sharing their teaching strategies with these future teachers.

"We greatly appreciate all that you do to support our program and employ our candidates." He also contended that about 80% of teachers at the school participate in this endeavor, and for which they are very grateful.
