SPPS is thrilled to share that St. Paul voters approved the school district referendum. More than 65% of voters said “YES” to maintaining the high-quality programs, excellent staff and strong academic opportunities that our 33,000 students depend on every day.

Project REACH is seeking new toys and gifts for children ages birth through 18. The gifts
will go to families experiencing homelessness in SPPS. Unwrapped gifts can be dropped off at 1021 Marion Street or ordered from Project REACH’s online wish lists. Items will be accepted now through December 12.

Due to the federal government shutdown, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits will be reduced this month. School meals are not impacted. Breakfast and lunch will continue to be free for all students at school. Review this webpage for a list of free food resources in St. Paul.

School begins on Tuesday, September 2, for students in grades 1-12. Students in pre-kindergarten and kindergarten start on Thursday, September 4. Watch and read a special back-to-school message from Superintendent Stacie Stanley.
